Hello Adams Morgan

Known for its nightlife (and quite rightly so, as it’s really good), Adams Morgan offers more than that too. North of Dupont Circle and Logan Circle, this neighborhood also has history; head to 18th Street to see those classic Washington DC row houses and veer off into the leafy side streets lined with elegant homes. There are plenty of independent cafes and shops too, particularly vintage fashion and homewares. For art and culture, DC Arts Center is the place. This art gallery is also a performance venue, and a home for emerging artists so expect to see the eclectic here. For all its historical and cultural merits, Adams Morgan does deserve its reputation for nightlife with its mix of live music spots, late-night dining and cool bars, ranging from chic cocktail bars and salsa venues to raucous clubs. As a neighborhood, it’s also perhaps the most ethnically diverse, evident in the vast spectrum of restaurants, from classic American fare on the rooftop at Roofers Union to Peruvian, Cajun, Middle Eastern, Indian and more. And no matter what time it is or how hungry you are, don’t forget The Diner is open 24-7…
