Hello Eagle Beach / Palm Beach
There are plenty of special beaches in the Caribbean, but few are more pristine, more picturesque, or more postcard-perfect than Eagle Beach and Palm Beach in Aruba. Covering stretches of coast on the island's northeastern corner, these two beaches make for quite the couple: think fine, pearly-white sand, water as blue as you've ever seen it, and thatched palapas for when you want to cool off in the shade for a few minutes. Join in with a game of beach tennis on Eagle Beach, being careful not to run into a fofoti tree, and bring your snorkeling gear with you too. There's more: for a few months of the year, sea turtles use Eagle Beach as a nesting spot and, if you hang around until sunset, you might even be fortunate enough to see them hatching and scampering out to sea. You'll find plenty of lively bars and restaurants along the coast at Palm Beach; flip-flop your way to one of these during the day or after the sun has dramatically set for a tropical cocktail or a plate of freshly-caught fish.
