Hello Central Park South
The area between the southern boundary of Central Park and the buzz of the Theater District could quite easily go by the name of 'Skyscraper Central.' The likes of Trump Tower and 30 Rockefeller Plaza can be found in Central Park South, where you'll spend most of your time craning your neck upwards to take it all in. There is a lot more to the area than 70-story high buildings, however. You can enjoy free entrance to the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) on Friday nights, buy tickets to the legendary Carnegie Hall, catch a show at the New York City Center – culture vultures will be in their element. Chelsea / Hells Kitchen, Times Square / Theater District, Upper East Side, Upper West Side, Midtown and Central Park are all just a short walk away, while for one of the best views in town head up to the Top of the Rock.
