❤️ Hello

Hello Champs-Élysées

The Champs-Elysées in Paris is one of the world’s most dazzling avenues, bursting at the seams with fashion stores and boutiques and renowned for its almost intimidating amount of retail opportunities. For somewhere to clear your mind afterward, you could take a look around the weird and wonderful Parc Monceau. Philippe d’Orléans was a ludicrously rich cousin of King Louis XVI who in 1778 set about creating an English-style garden that he wanted to pack with architectural ‘follies.’ There’s a miniature Egyptian pyramid, a Dutch windmill, an arc of Roman columns – and that’s only the start of it. Their somewhat dilapidated state appears in stark contrast to the splendor of the nearby Arc de Triomphe, making their grandiose neighbor look all the more impressive.
