Located in the heart of the Design District, Kamppi is one of the busiest neighborhoods in Helsinki. Transport links are as good here as anywhere else in the city, while for high-street and big brand shopping there's simply nowhere better. You can shop 'til you drop in your choice of not one but two malls – the Forum and the Kamppi Center – and keep your energy levels up with a coffee or bite to eat in one of the many cafes, bars and restaurants along the way. There's a lot more to the area than the world of retail, however. The National Museum of Finland and the Helsinki Contemporary are two of the country's leading cultural centers, or, to slow everything down for a few minutes, check out the 'Chapel of Silence.' This striking public space provides a place for people to relax and recharge their batteries.
