Hello Le Marais
The Marais is one of the most atmospheric neighborhoods in the whole of Paris. Cobbled streets, well-hidden courtyards, and old-fashioned bakeries contrast wonderfully with art galleries ranging from the small and intimate to the world renowned. You can eat and drink here very well, too, from freshly-baked croissants and three-course dinners in rustic bistros to the most indulgent and delicate éclairs that you’ve ever laid eyes on. Visit Paris’ oldest market – the Marché des Enfants Rouges – for a spot of lunch, and then, after more sightseeing in the afternoon, you can look forward to a night of wine or cocktail-fuelled fun. Charming and beautiful in the daytime and then bursting into life at night, drinking in the Marais with the youthful, energetic Parisians for company is one of the city’s great experiences.
